Orthodontic treatment will help achieve a healthy, beautiful smile and can help improve self-confidence.

More than just metal, today's braces provide a choice!

Our office wants orthodontic treatment to be as comfortable as possible. To help meet that objective we offer a variety of types of styles of orthodontic appliances to choose from. Dr. Rose offers an orthodontic appliance that is smaller, more comfortable and efficient and which decreases active treatment time in many patients.

Patients can choose the color of the ties that hold the archwires in place. Wires are much less noticeable, and many patients are achieving straighter smiles with shorter treatment time. Now is truly a great time to see Dr. Rose!

How long does orthodontic treatment take?
The length of time that orthodontic treatment takes depends on several factors:

  • Early treatment - The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) recommends children have an orthodontic examination around the age of seven. At this age, there is significant facial/jaw growth taking place. This time period can be crucial in some orthodontic cases, and even though a child may not have many permanent teeth at this time, it is wise to schedule an orthodontic examination with Dr. Rose just in case the child could benefit from early orthodontic treatment.
  • What needs to be corrected - Depending upon how much orthodontic treatment is needed determines how long the length of treatment. While it may take one patient only 12 months to complete their treatment, it may take another patient longer. Treatment times can vary depending on how quickly the body responds to the orthodontic process, the difficulty of the orthodontic case, and the efficiency of the orthodontic appliance selected.
  • Patient Responsibility - How diligent the patient is about following the instructions of Dr. Rose and his staff can play a major role in the length of treatment time.
